A step forward towards my dream

Diligence’s always rewarded!
To my mind, a good actor needs to experience first-hand what it’s like to be his character. It’s never too late to enroll for a course or go in for sports. My courageous friend, who had to play a vagabond, spent a whole day talking to homeless people and pretending to be one of them. I won’t dare repeating her achievement but I can boast of taking painting lessons! I haven’t received the proposition to play an artist yet but I’m determined to show my best and make a casting director applaud me right in the audition room. I also watch online tutorials where real painters speak about their work. One of my favorite series of videos presents a palette knife technique on oil canvases by Leonid Afremov. The man speaks Russian but don’t rush to hire an interpreter because there are English subtitles. You’ll be fond of highly saturated colors and wouldn’t like to close the video player. However, there’s another place where you can enjoy his pieces of art – a virtual gallery! What’s great about it is that:
You don’t have to buy an entry ticket.
You can stay as long as you wish.
After registration on the site, you get a $25 discount.
The gallery displays hundreds of magnificent works able to take your breath away!
A fabulous encounter
Take a look at the love painting link. It’s like a scene from a movie where a handsome prince saves a princess from bandits. He’s holding the lady in his arms and can’t resist kissing her as she’s so beautiful at the moment. Pay attention to the motley background – how it suits the romantic moment! Multicolored leaves on the trees and under the characters’ feet create a fairy-tale atmosphere. Afremov manages to emotionally influence a viewer by just choosing the right palette. I especially like the green color that he uses to depict the trees growing deep in the forest. That interesting hue covers the place like a mist and because of that, there’s something mysterious in the air! I can’t take my eyes off this unique love painting!
Never stop trying new things. For instance, let art change your life for the better. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you must buy a brush and an easel. You can just visit an exhibition or admire bright oil canvases by Leonid Afremov without leaving your home. The choice is yours! After this therapy you’ll feel relieved and full of inspiration. Hurry up to test the magical effect yourself!
